On July 19, the town of Svetvinčenat will host the community workshop Memory in Motion: Reimagining Svetvinčenat, organized as part of the European project Danube Dance Alliance. This initiative connects contemporary dance, theatre, architecture, and new technologies to create modular performance formats, presented both live and in VR across cities in the Danube region.
During the two-hour session, led by Martin Yankov and Irina Altanova from Тhe Collective Foundation, participants will explore the connection between personal memory, space, and imagination – as well as possible future scenarios for development, revitalization, and reimagining of the urban environment.
The collected stories and impressions will serve as a foundation for an artistic co-creation that will later be presented as part of the Danube Dance Alliance program in multiple European cities.
Participation is open to all – regardless of age, experience, or artistic background. We invite you to join this creative process of remembering, imagining, and reinterpreting space.
