We are looking for young people between the ages of 14 and 25 from Veliko Tarnovo to join us in designing and creating an open-air gallery along the Yantra River. The inauguration will take place as part of “Rivers of the City: Veliko Tarnovo” – part of the “48 Hours Varusha South” festival in August.
In addition to creating the new space, we will also participate in organizing an open call for artists from across Europe. Together, we will select 12 works to be displayed in the new river gallery.
The program begins with a workshop in Veliko Tarnovo on April 12th and 13th, and then we will continue our joint work with regular meetings leading up to August when we will present the exhibition

Transformative Urbanism is a project by EUNIC Bulgaria, The Collective, and the VT Events Association. EUNIC is the European network of national cultural institutes and organizations, with 39 members from all EU countries and associated states. The European partners in this project are the Bulgarian representations of the cultural institutes of Germany, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, Portugal, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, as well as the Austrian Embassy.
